"A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future."-Coco Chanel

[perfumes! by hOshi metamorphosis ]

I really really love that quote. Coco Chanel is the kind of icon that can get away with saying anything. I love how straight forward it is- honestly I don't disagree!!

Anyhoo...for various reasons, it's time for me to choose a new scent! Any suggestions? Since we are heading into the winter months, I am leaning toward something less floral, and more rich smelling. I need help, and I thought who better to ask then my lovely blogging beauties! I'm sure you all smell fantastic! Ha! Let me know what you think :)

xo,
Charlie

I'm a huuuge, huge fan of SJP's Lovely. It's not too sweet, not too musky. I've been wearing since it came out and always get compliments on it!

I am all DK's Cashmere Mist in the Spring/Summer. But agree with some of the others...Burberry Brit in the winter. Angel is great too. Spray lightyly...but SO many compliments on it.

so glad you posted this! i just spent an hour at nordstrom's searching for a new perfume (and spending too much on some hopefully awesome new make-up). i'm fickle and get sick of my some ol' thing.

i had a page pulled out of in style that i can't find now.....it listed three "must have" new scents. ahhh! wish i could find it. i'll have to check back and see what everyone comes up with!

i wear flowerbomb a lot, but otherwise, i prefer to wear something that you wn't smell on everyone else. three less common scents that i love:

1. fracas by robert piguet.
2. l'artisan pafumer of paris has some really great scents. i love their chasse aux papillions. in the dc area you can buy their scents at neimans or bluemercury.
3 anything by annick goutal, especially gardenia passion.

happy smelling!

I LOVE this quote! My favorite perfume is Hermes Mervielled which I picked up in the Middle east this summer. baby Doll by YLS and Coco are my two back ups.
