I get one morning to feel like this...

It's times like this that I wish I had the luxury of caring a little less...of having a little less at stake.

I know what I'll be clinging to over these next few years.

A little Naval shout-out to John McCain;) My husband has this flag on the wall of the garage..over his work bench!! Very cool.

I had been meaning to order this poster....how CUTE is this vintage print in pink?? I need it in my office now---and the message is a soothing affirmation;) When I figure out where to buy it in pink, I will share with you all!

xo,
Lulu

PS--today's the day to start the glad game again

Well said. I too have active military family members, so this morning definitely comes with some mixed emotions.

On a lighter note, that pink poster is completely wonderful. I'm off to investigate that Etsy link!

I'm right there with you. The next 4 years are going to be so trying for us that knew better than to fall for a "celebrity". I almost didn't come into work today because I didn't want to hear the stupid comments from the other side. I sucked it up and decided that I would just congratulate them on their win and move on.

Definitely let us know when you find the poster!! I would love it for my daughter's room!!! She voted in her classroom election yesterday and was the only one to vote McCain!!! I'm so proud of her for standing her ground. It was a great lesson for her also because she found out how mean people can really be since her BFF called her stupid for not voting with the class. My baby girl is 100% REPUBLICAN!!!!

Chin up! and I LOVE the "Don't Give up the Ship" flag. I was just at the Naval Academy this past weekend where I saw the original and it always makes me feel so proud and thankful for the selfless service of our men and women in the armed forces...past, present and future!

Love the posters, they, too, are what I will cling to as well.

My brother in law is overseas as well. I pretty much agree with all your other posters as well.
