this is a real tomboy-ish post

And I generally do not have any tomboy in me at all. hahahahahaha

#1. Anyone else's man out yesterday? It was the "first day"in Virginia or "opening day" as I think the hunters call it...and actually my sweet love is really a bow and arrow kinda guy but he was out yesterday too for the opening day.

Ughhhhh.

Lord, help me
because I think deer are the most gentle and beautiful creatures ever! I truly just block the whole thing outta my mind but the saving grace is that he donated the deer to Hunters for the Hungry. Saves me from learning how to cook venison. So there's a silver lining.

Happy Sunday all.

#2. Eeeeppp!!! Watch out--I think the Redskins are gonna beat the Cowboys today--Sorry to my Dallas friends!!!! ;)

xoxo,
Lulu

PS--does anyone else love this picture? I just think she looks so adorable here and really Jessica Simpson has nothing to do with how Tony Romo will play but still this pink number 9 is like the cutest thing

Oh law - One of my best friends/sorority sisters has a little bit of 'redneck' in her you could say, and sent hunting this past week and send me a picture message at the ripe hour of 7am showing me her buck she'd gotten. Ha!

My brother and Dad just got back from deer hunting for a week. I grew up around it, so, I'm not a huge bambi lover - it doesn't affect me too much. Which is weird, because I'm a huge animal lover.

And yes, JS looks adorable there. I want a team of people to do MY hair and make-up every single day. That's going on my Christmas list. ;-)

Hunting makes me sad too! And considering I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere, I suppose I should be more used to it...but I can't. I can't stand the thought of killing Bambi's dad! lol

I do love her jersey. As ditzy as the girl is I'm still jealous at how adorable she is... :)

Thank you for leaving me a comment on my blog today!!! It's nice to meet a fellow DC military gal!! :)

I used to be so against hunting, but I have changed for some reason. I mean sudden death seems better then a slow, starvation death. This probably makes me sounds horrible and I want you to know I LOVE animals. I always stop or swirve for anything on the road and think animal abuse is horrible. Anyway, enough on that. It is a big game tonight and I hope the Cowboys can actually play a real game!

I'm watching the Coxboys play right now! I've been watching for JS but haven't seen her. She looks very adorable in that picture... and every other time!
